Hi Ladies,

I'm looking for some reassurance really from anyone who has been in a similar position.

I am currently pregnant at 4+6 and due to previous losses am on progesterone and am being monitored by the hospital.

I have had five HCG blood tests and they were going up quite nicely, but the last one only went up 58% in 48 hours.

Results:

19th July - 223
21st July - 403
24th July- 1561
26th July - 4381
28th July- 6970

I have read that over 6000 usually sees the results start slowing and only doubling after 96 hours, but I am very nervous as it feels very early for it to be slowing. I have a scan booked for next Thursday and am fearing the worst.

Anyone had similar with success??

Hi @Lyla82 what did they say about the levels in the hospital/clinic?

Lyla82 · 29/07/2022 12:50

She just said that they would have liked it to double, but it has still gone up, and they recommended a scan next week to see how things are going rather than doing any further blood tests. She said we just need to wait until the scan and see. So this didn't fill me with confidence :(

Ah ok, yes the waiting isn't nice, but as you know that's all one can do 😕Good that it has gone up though!
