Sorry for so many posts in one day!

25 weeks pregnant, went to A&E with high heart rate.

ECG - sinus tachycardia
WCC - 13 CRP 14 neutrophilia

TSH - 0.17

I have a VQ scan tomorrow morning to rule out pulmonary embolism. Feeling completely fine apart from the high heart rate which has been going on since the start of my pregnancy tbh. Doctor said it’s probable that it’s a viral illness driving tachycardia

Tachycardia means fast heart rate. WCC (white cell count) CRP (c-reactive protein) and neutrophila all refer to you having markers in your blood to indicate you have an infection somewhere that your immune system is fighting. TSH is thyroid stimulating hormone and 0.17 is under the normal threshold (0.5) so could indicate your thyroid is producing too much hormone. Could be completely unrelated to your fast heart rate but something they will still want to check. Get well soon!
