Used a first response rapid result test, pregnancy line came up instantly but the control line is very faint. Wondering what this means and if anyone has had this before? Will test again in the morning to be sure, just wanted any advice
Thank you:)x

Looks to me like it’s just the wrong way round in the plastic casing 🙈

And also definitely two lines 🙂

I read if there's a lot of HCG the dye is soaked up in the test line and so there's none left to turn the control line darker :-)
I tested three days before my period was due and both lines were the same but tested again a week or more later and the control line was faint like that :-)

Congratulations!
You have a dye stealer!

It means there is quite a bit of HCG in your system already. Do you know how many DPO you are?

I'm not sure how many dpo I am, never been the best at tracking. A rough guess I should have been due around the 16th, so about a week and a half late.

This is what I had with mine - that's not a faint positive, it's a really strong one!

As previous person mentioned, it's because your HCG levels are high so you could be further along than you think! (I was 5 weeks when I did my test that came up like this)

Congrats!!

It just means your HCG is really high! Congratulations. I'd bet a digital would show 2-3 or 3+ weeks now :)
