So I’m 26 weeks pregnant and feel like my fingers feel stiff and sore almost like they have been in cold water at times or cold . Things like getting crisps out of a crisp packet my fingers feel almost numb and clumsy ? By Googling it seems common in pregnancy as carpel tunnel but it says it wouldn’t be in little finger where is mine is all fingers ? Does that rule out carpel tunnel ? What else could it be ?

@Lkakpk
Carpel tunnel is normally in the thumbs and pains up the thumb, as its a nerve that affects the thumb.

Yes my thumb is very painful but my other fingers are stiff and sore too so I’m wondering if there is a few nerves involved . Feel like my finger pads are just numb

Cubital tunnel, similar to carpal tunnel but in your elbow, causes numbness in that side of your hand. I had both cubital and carpal tunnel operated pre pregnancy but cubital tunnel syndrome definitely flared up again in pregnancies

@LG93 I seem to have both at the minute which is fun :( is it common for both to come at once ?

Tingling in my hands/fingers was anaemia.

I had carpal tunnel and got pins and needles in my whole hand at times. It was my fore finger that was most affected. Mine was sorted out with a wrist splint from the chemist that I wore at night only. I wasn't pregnant at the time though.
