25 weeks pregnant - pink spotting once

I’m 25 weeks pregnant today and last night when I wiped there was a small amount of pink discharge on the tissue. It was only that one time and didn’t happen again, and I’m not too worried because baby is moving as normal and right now is quite active tbh. Any ideas what this could be? It was a very small amount on the tissue and only that one time.

I would phone the midwife just to be sure.

@Babyghirl i did, but she didn’t answer so I called triage who have told me to come in to get checked. They said it could be due to the thrush I had recently but still told me to go in if I want to, so I’m gonna go in

Can thrush cause spotting in the second trimester? I’m pretty sure I have thrush again. That white cottage cheese like discharge ugh.

I’ve come into triage and they’ve tested my urine which is normal, and checked baby’s heartbeat which is looking great and healthy. My blood pressure is normal but my heart rate is high, maybe due to stress? It’s fluctuating between 105-130 😖 just waiting for the doctor to come in and do an internal.

I was in hospital on Thursday because of spotting once when I wiped and it came back that I had thrush which was a surprise considering I had no other symptoms ! I was 30 weeks 1 day when this happened

Yep pretty sure I have thrush too. I do feel sore and irritated when I wipe, and there’s that white discharge that you get in thrush. No itchiness though! They tried to do an internal and it was too uncomfortable and painful for me 😔 so they couldn’t do that properly. Even though the doctor did say he couldn’t see any active bleeding in the cervix but it most likely is thrush.

Did everything go OK for you in the end. I'm 27 wks and have a pink discharge but my doctor thinks it's thrush, told me to take canesten pessary. Were you advised to take anything?
