Self referral

I was wondering if anyone can help me.
I've worked out I'm further along than I thought at 12wks +2 today.
I self referred over 2 weeks ago and again 2 days ago. I've heard nothing at all which worries me as I should be getting screened now.
I feel at a loss as you can only do an online form or call and they call you back which hasn't happened either. Just feeling super frustrated 😕

Maybe try phoning your doctor and see what they say, you can get all checks up until 13+6 I think so hopefully you hear soon.

I spoke to a doctor on Friday she congratulated me and said I had to do a self referral
I had my last child 10 years ago so it's all changed

If you ring the hospital and ask for maternity services you should be able to get this sorted. It might take a bit of time on hold and possibly getting passed around, but they should get you to the right person.

At my hospital the community midwives team admin is based at the hospital and they would sort something like this. When you call the hospital you could ask for them/see if they have one.

Don't just ring the number for referrals since they're not getting back to you - go over their head!

I now have my booking appointment with the midwife on Monday. Thank you again 💓

Glad you got sorted, I've just done a self referral on Tuesday morning and got a call back with an appointment a few hours later!
