25 weeks and exhausted - is this normal?!

I'm 25 weeks with my second baby, and I am bone crushingly tired. My first is 2 and sleeps mostly through the night so I'm getting a good 8-9 hours sleep per night, but about 2 hours after I get up I could honestly go back to bed (which I can't as I work FT). I have a desk job so it's not like I'm physically busy all day to make me this tired? In the evenings I am so tired I can barely string a sentence together and am counting down until the toddler is in bed so I can go to bed myself. I don't remember being like this with my first until late in the 3rd trimester. Am I just misremembering how tough pregnancy is?? I can't imagine being like this for another 15 weeks, knowing it'll get worse as I get further into the 3rd trimester?! I'm also finding things physically much more tiring already - I can't walk as far, and picking up round the house for half an hour knackers me out! Does anyone have any advice or tips please?!

Do you know what your iron levels are like?

I'm super tired too and struggling although I don't even have excuse of looking after toddler.

i was like this for the last 2 months of my pregnancy, I now know I had ridiculously low iron levels, have you had a recent blood test? Get in touch with your midwife/gp and ask for one and tell them why- it’s a starting point to work out how to make you feel better

I'd get your iron levels checked as well, but for me it was normal. I was exhausted from start to finish, and iron was just fine. I also had a toddler to look after, which is hard work even when not pregnant.

Thanks all I've left a message for my midwife asking for a chat about it as I've no idea what my iron is like! Hopefully that will be the answer as I can't imagine making it through another 15 weeks!!
