After 3 miscarriages I’m pregnant again

After 3 miscarriages I’m pregnant for the third time in the last year. I worked out I would be 5 wks 5 days. I started spotting on Friday, pink fluid, only when I wiped once, then some brown discharge, followed by a little bit of spotting. I’m a wedding photographer and on my feet all day when I do weddings- this is when the spotting started- but it could have nothing to do with it?

I had a scan yesterday and there was a yolk sac - no pole or baby yet. They measured me at just under 5 weeks. They said they were happy with what they saw. I have to go back for a scan in two weeks. I’m just so scared I’m going to start heavy bleeding in the meantime- I don’t know if I’m being paranoid but my boobs don’t seem as full and I’m not constantly needing the toilet anymore. Any experiences/advice positive or negative (want to prepare myself) would be most helpful to get me through these two weeks. Thank you

Hi @1stimeMum2b congratulations!

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I too have had 3 miscarriages. When I got pregnant again I was put on baby aspirin 75g, high dose folic acid 5mg and progesterone straight away. It seems to be working so far, which seems like a miracle because this is the furthest I've been. I would get on them asap, speak to your GP, they might be reluctant but don't be fobbed off. Good luck
