Pregnancy of unknown location

Hi

I went for a scan Friday and they couldn't see anything on the ultra sound. They did bloods my hcg was 185 I went back for repeat bloods Sunday and they had trebled to 591. Now I don't need to have one bloods done but I will have another scan Friday to see if there is anything they can see then. I've been that concerned I've been freaking myself out just wondered if anyone else has been in my situation x

How many weeks are you? They usually say nothing can be seen on a scan until your hcg is around 2000 (I think it's 2000).

I had my last af 7th June but my cycles have been around 39 days as I had a miscarriage in March x

I believe this is correct - until levels reach 2000 nothing can be seen on a scan.

I'm just paranoid after what happened in march I think x

Hi, yeah when my levels were at 1575 nothing was seen on the scan, had to go back 2 weeks later & there was a little bean with a heartbeat 😊

Thanks all. Honestly my paranoia is through the roof to the point where I don't think things will be okay and expecting the worst x

Hi I know this is an old thread but was your scan when they couldn't see anything a vaginal ultrasound? Going through the same thing now 😞 x

Hi, I had both abdominal & vaginal, sorry to hear your going through this, I so hope it all works out okay for you as it did me, my little girl was born on valentines day xx
