16 weeks midwife appointment and just heard babies heartbeat.
Was so loud and strong. Sounded like it was galloping. 146bpm. Does this indicate whether boy or girl???

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It's one of those old wives tales. I'm sure there'll be someone though who insists it's true! 😜

Nope it doesn't 😁

Well I had boy girl twins and yes girl twin heart always galloped and boy twins was always a train. I always knew which was which the entire pregnancy

Babyenroute · 25/07/2022 14:01

Mine sounded in between galloping and horses (I honestly work out what it sounded more like).
We are having a surprise and it defintely didn't give any game away 😂

PointyMcguire · 26/07/2022 06:41

We’ve just found out we’re having a girl (harmony test confirmed) and heart rate was 165bpm at just shy of 15wks.

Girl = horse.

Boy = train.

Every midwife I've ever met says so.
