Am I pregnant? Or evaporation line?

I am new here but wondering if I could be pregnant. Conception would’ve been 15 days ago - tho I have the Mirena, although I’ve had it 5 years now..
been feeling sick as a dog since last Wednesday, very nauseous, gone off coffee or most food and my anxiety is sky high. Had similar symptoms in other early pregnancy. But have also just had covid.
I’m 44 and single, and. this would be completely not planned..
have attached todays test. Can’t decide if it’s evaporation line or positive.. anyone else come across evap lines. Are they common?
If I had no symptoms I wouldn’t be worried..
Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

I would say definitely a positive

If that pic is within the testing time frame it's very much a positive

It's a bit of a skewed line and a bit thin. Can you get a pink dye test like a First Response?

It was about 30 mins (forgot to add that bit).. but in my first pregnancy I had a feint line about 3 hours later very early on!

Yes I’m going to do that tomorrow. If I had no symptoms I would be convinced it’s just evap line.. but I’ve felt so sick this last week..

I'm not sure definitely get a digital or forts response I have saw other pics of these tests with false positives I'll attach a pic.

Thin blue lines on blue tests are often evaps so please re test with a pink test xx

Thanks for the replies - yes I’m thinking evap line, just strange as the symptoms I have are just like other pregnancies!
will be buying several more tests (pink tests) on my way to work this morning xx

So I did a digital test this morn (couldn’t get first response) so looks like was just evaporation line…

still early so will test again in a few days but presume that’s pretty definitive!

..just out of info has anyone had false digital? I’ve read they are less accurate early on…

False negatives on digitals are very common early on, but I've not heard of false positive digitals.

I've had digitals read 'not pregnant' while
doing positive first response tests. I don't think they're as sensitive early on. These have been times I have been pregnant!

Ah Ok, that's interesting to know - it was literally the only test I could get! All my other pregnancies, I had feint lines on the normal tests early on.. i just never really knew the evap lines were so common.. and it is 15 DPO so thought levels may be high enough now.. god the waiting is awful. I can't concentrate at all!

Never did a digital early always did first response 10dpo after ivf and they always showed a faint line, wait for the first response ones to come does your local supermarket not sell them ?

Just went back on my photos and a digital did show pregnant 1 day before my period was due

Have ordered on Amazon - tried 3 different supermarkets..
I have the coil (5 years and not been checked) so chances are so slim..but I have symptoms same as my last pg and then that positive clearblue..

but yes all speculation atm. I’m sure I’m not.. just can’t shake the nausea and other feelings!

Those clear blue tests are known for their evap lines! If it was after 30 mins I’d definitely say it’s more than likely an evap line.

And so it was an evap line.. did first response today (negative)

Tho it would’ve been completely crazy situation and unplanned.. I feel a little sad…

clearblue should sort that out. I feel for all those desperately trying and having to go through this! xx
