I’m worried my discharge is a sign of a miscarriage(warning: image) and I don’t know what to do

I’ve had a small amount of brown discharge for the last week but today i got the pink discharge (in the image). Everything i read is really confusing and I don’t know what to do? I haven’t felt sick today, just tired and dizzy.

Sorry, that must be stressful. How far along are you? You could call your local EPU in the morning and see if they’ll see you for a scan.

Spotting/bleeds in early pregnancy don’t always mean a miscarriage though so try not to worry too much.

sorry you are going through this worry. The thing with bleeding at this stage is it can be completely normal but unfortunately also can be a sign that all is not well. The hardest thing is waiting. I second calling EPU. I was earlier than you when I first had a bleed I was advised by EPU to take a pregnancy test in a week and if it was positive and I was still bleeding they would see me but they might see you as you are further along/different NHS trust. They all seem to do things differently. Some take bloods a few days apart to test HCG as well

You could also try and speak to your GP who might refer you to the EPU.
