hello everyone this is my first post here it's a bit of a long one so bare with me .....

so i found out i was pregnant unexpectedly and got 4 positive pregnancy tests 2 ultra sensitive clear blues and 2 pink dye tests very faint but positive. 4 days later i started bleeding with clots just like a period i would have been 3/4 weeks pregnant so assumed i was having a miscarriage. i had a miscarriage before and went to the hospital they told me there was nothing they could do so i didn't go to the hospital this time.

fast forward 11 days to today my boobs are really hurting so thought i would take a test (pink dye) just to be sure that it was negative now. it was positive and slightly darker then the test i took when i first found out but still faint.

i'm really confused i know i won't know for definite until i see a doctor which i will do on monday morning when they open, just wondering in the meantime if this has happened to anyone else and what the outcome was ?

thank you all

Ask Dr's for hcg blood test taken 2 days apart. That will give you clear answers. It could go either way atm. Good luck!

stardust00 · 25/07/2022 13:05

@olliebearsmummy My cousin had what seemed like a full period when she got pregnant. The new tests are pretty clear! Think i would still do the blood tests at GP to see the rate of growth in HCG and exclude any potential problems. x

I am experiencing a chemical pregnancy. My 3rd one. Can I ask if anyone did anything differently in conception stages which they felt helped to have a successful conception?

allgoodthings84 · 12/04/2023 22:33

@F15 you may be better to start your own post as this one is old but in a see to your question I don’t think chemicals happen because of anything you go or don’t do. Often they are a chromosomal issue. I had 2 chemicals/early miscarriages in a row and then this pregnancy straight after those (so pregnant 3 cycles in a row with no break) and am now 20+4 weeks. I didn’t do anything differently.
