Out of the blue. It's happened a couple of times this pregnancy and I know when it's coming, get that awful feeling, shake, dizzy, feel hot and my heads swimming. I have to sit down before I fall down.

Checked my blood pressure while it was happening and it was 83/50 - is this normal in pregnancy ? I'm 28+4.

Checked it since and it's now 123/66

I think anything below 90/60 is low.
Speak to your midwife about it.

My BP fell to 80/50 during pregnancy and heat, dehydration and hunger caused exactly what you're describing. I had to be really careful about how I stood up, layers I wore, how often I ate and drank etc. I found it improved after 30wks.

I also find it happens if I stand up in one position for too long, does that happen to anyone else ?
It's only ever been low the once when I've seen the midwife, every other time they say it's perfect. I'd say this has happened about 4 times now
