39+5 - the final countdown

Anyone down to their last week or two?

39+5 here. Last day of work today.

No signs of Labour - although, every twinge I wonder if it could be something. I think that’s just general pregnancy aches and pains though.

Baby feeling enormously heavy and pressure variously on my public bone and lower back. It takes me a while to get moving when I stand up - aches and pains in my pelvis and lower back.

Must also be retaining about half of the liquid I drink, reminiscing about when I had ankles and calves.

They weren’t wrong when they said the final weeks felt like years…!

@37anddone omg can't believe you're still working, mad respect! I'm 38+3 and I am so done. And you're a week ahead!

My poor OH, I'm a monster at home, he can't do anything right.

I'm dreaming of sleeping on my back again and being able to move without feeling like a kettlebell is inside me 😂

39+1 here and still can’t imagine labour ever starting 😂

@SouthwestSis been trying this for 2 weeks..I think my baby is just super comfy where she is 😅

I'm 37w2 and I've had enough. My days are spent laying in bed, sitting on the sofa, feeling dizzy or nauseous or being sick.

I think my husband thought I'd be nesting now but I can't do anything.

@Spottybutterfly I haven't been able to do much for ages, or so it feels. Just mooching about at home between the sofa, the bed and the kitchen for snacks.
Also strangely petrified of my waters going in public, so am staying at home.most of the time. Time for this baby to make his entrance 😅

39+5 today with first baby and been feeling signs for over two weeks now and nothing! Lost mucous plug in 3 big lumps over 2 weeks ago and been having lower back pains + period like pains since. Went in for reduced movements today and asked to be checked… apparently I’m only 1cm dilated - very disappointing since been having stronger pains for 2 days now! Anyway, good luck! I hope things progress for you :)
