Hi all, my first midwife appointment is going to be on the 5th of September where I should be 13+4
Does this seem normal time wise I had a look on the NHS page and it said first appointment should be around 10 weeks?
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Have you had your booking in appointment? This is usually before the 12 week scan. If not I would call and ask.

@Merryclaire this is the booking appointment I will email them back as does seem quite late on x

I've still not had my booking in appointment and I'm 13 weeks 1 day. Had my first scan today and got my booking in appointment next Tuesday. They're just really behind at the moment.

I got a letter in the post when I was about 10 weeks pregnant with my scan date. When I was 11 weeks pregnant I got a phone call from the maternity unit about my booking in appointment which they scheduled for when I will be 14 weeks

I think it depends where you live maybe? My first appointment is at just over 8 weeks

Thank you all, I sent an email back and they are going to get back in contact Monday at rearranging an earlier appointment so that scans will be on time x thank you for all your feed back x
