I've just seen on my app online that my hospital have arranged a call for me next week with the title 'Obstretics - Medical Complications'. No further info as it's an automated reminder message from the app.
Has anyone any experience of what this means?
Background: second pregnancy, first pregnancy my baby was delivered at 41+5 on the 8th centile, classified as small for gestational age. Hadn't had any scans since the 20 week anomaly scan so no indication she was tracking small. She also had meconium aspiration syndrome, a pneumothorax and infection and was in NICU for 7 days.
Due to above (mostly because of the previously small baby) I am having growth scans this time around. First scan showed baby is only on the 10th centile, so also small. Next scan is tomorrow, 2 weeks since first scan.
I've also got anaemia and been asked to take iron tablets on alternative days.
I'll ask tomorrow what this is all about but was curious if anyone has had a similar appointment scheduled?
