Swollen feet

This weather is playing havoc with my feet - they are SO swollen. I can't get any shoes or trainers on so wearing beach flip flops. Feeling embarrassed today because it's raining and I'm having to go to work in them! I'm elevating my feet as much as possible and doing short regular walks. Does anyone have other tips? I don't have any other symptoms so don't think it's pre eclampsia or anything. I'm currently 37+4

Sadly nothing really helped with mine last time, and at 34 weeks this time they've started to get puffy. I sat with them in a bowl of cold water on the really hot days and that reduced the swelling a little. Even if not symptomatic though, probably worth getting a blood pressure check.

When you have your feet elevated, massage your feet (or get your partner to do it for you) so that you are sort of pulling the fluid from your feet up into your legs.

I suffered a lot with swollen feet towards the end of my pregnancy and would also recommend if you can to buy a pair of shoes that comfortably fit the swollen feet as foot size can change with pregnancy so they might fit after and also comfy shoes help with staying active and generally feeling better and less balloon-y (in my experience)

Thanks both! I've had a foot massage tonight and it has helped. Hopefully I can wear normal shoes again soon!
