Hello - first time on here but not sure where else to turn!

I am currently 20 +5 having had multiple (7) early miscarriages so this already feels like a miracle. I am naturally a size 14/16 and 5ft 3 so wasn’t expecting a bump immediately but was expecting something??? I have no bump and no other pregnancy symptoms… no cravings, no sore boobs, no indigestion…. my 20 week scan is this friday but i am worried sick something is wrong this time too! Anybody else had a similar experience and things turned out ok? All has been well on my previous scans but by now should i have felt some movement or a bump or something 😭???? any help or advice welcome xx

First of all welcome and come join us on the December 2022 babies thread!

I presume you've had a couple of earlier scans so you know bub has been growing away! I'm a few days behind you (19+6) and had killer symptoms in the first trimester but most have settled down now and lots of other women have none at all at this stage. Some of us look like we are 7 months pregnant and some have no bump at all. Some of us are feeling movement and some of us haven't felt a thing - placenta position plays a big role here and you'll find out at your scan on Friday how yours is sitting.

I know it is so, so much easier said than done but please try not to worry too much. Huge congrats on your rainbow in the making 🌈

Thank you for your response! It’s so hard not to stress! I have had lots of scans so far and so far so good, I already know I have an anterior placenta so understand this will effect movement but the anxiety is another level 💆🏽‍♀️ will try and relax! x

I was a size 14 when I fell pregnant and didn't show until I was around 27 weeks. I am now 37 weeks and the size of a house! I worried too as I was desperate to look pregnant! My morning sickness died down too and my boobs stopped hurting after the first trimester. I actually found second trimester the trickiest because I didn't 'feel' or look pregnant! It does get easier when you start to feel them moving and I did pay for an extra scan before my 20 week one to check all was ok

Thank you!!! this has made me feel so much better! We have paid for two private scans and have also had a few extras in the hospital as they are keeping a close eye on me due to my history! I feel the same, its so tricky, i dont look or feel pregnant so my mind automatically goes to ‘something is wrong’ 💆🏽‍♀️ going to try and relax! Thank you for responding x
