Hi all, I rarely go on threads like this but I really need some advice. I had an abortion 2 weeks ago, which brought no complications. I decided to take contraceptive pill moving forward but did not start straight away as I was not in the right mindset. 1 week after the abortion, my partner and I decided we were ready to have sexual intercourse again, we did however used a condom as we knew I wasn’t on contraception yet. My partner ejaculated but we continued to have sex for a few minutes after. After this, I went into complete paranoia, thinking I’ve done it again, i’m going to be pregnant again. I decided to take the emergency contraception to be safe and started taking contraception pill 5 days after emergency contraception and exactly 2 weeks after the abortion. We have not had intercourse since that one time and I am in a complete emotional state thinking that I will be pregnant again as I heard you can ovulate as early as 8 days after abortion which was when we did have intercourse. Could someone advise me on what best to do?
