Hey
Wanted to see if anyone else had been in the same position and how things went with the C Section? Obvs growth scans can be off but included the bigger baby size incase it's a factor.

i had low lying placenta and my baby was measuring over the 90th percentile. My baby was spot on size wise based on the scans but the placenta had actually moved! I had a scan at 38 weeks which showed it was still low and then on the day c section my baby had flipped so they scanned again and realised that the placenta had moved up.
The consultants and midwives were really lovely throughout and talked me through what the c section would be like. They made me feel at ease and said I could lose a lot of blood but they were prepared and would look after me.

Thanks for the reply. It says in my notes it's covering rather than close by and the sonographer said it hadn't moved much since 20 weeks (32 week scan) so I'm not too hopeful of it moving 🙈
