Guilt over being tired

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I NEVER felt like this with my first.
i understand I have a toddler in tow but the tiredness is dreadful. Not only that but I feel so guilty not being able to enjoy playing with my toddler like I used to!
Anyone else feeling this way? How long will this tiredness last!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

How many weeks are you? I'm 21 now and I feel fine, but in the early days the tiredness was crippling. I could sleep 8/9hrs at night and easily 3-4 during the day. This is my 3rd but huge age gap. I'd never felt exhaustion like it with either previous pregnancies.

Only 9 and a bit weeks, some days I feel fine other days like you I could sleep all day!
in hoping once I get past 12 I’ll feel a little better, the sickness has finally died down. Another symptom I didn’t have with my son!
i deffo think If this one was mt first pregnancy I would be reconsidering a second 😂
Do you k know the sex or have you chose to keep it a surprise?

We found out via blood test at 8 weeks! I was so desperate for a girl - have two already - and really hated the idea of having a boy (have 3 brothers) so I needed to know asap. And it's a girl! 💕

I can totally relate! I'm 20w now but the entire first trimester I was on my knees with exhaustion despite 9pm bedtimes and 1 hour naps during the day. My poor toddler, I hardly had the energy to do much fun stuff let alone walk her to the park so we spent a lot of time in our garden.
Was also not like this is in my previous pregnancy.
Hopefully you'll gain more energy once you reach the 2nd trimester!

@Ishacoco Oh wow that’s amazing! I didn’t even know that was a thing 😂
mim still half and half on what I want to do
@MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee I hope so! I’m lucky at the moment that going outside isn’t really an option as of the heat. But I do feel bad for my son. He keeps saying mummy have a rest bless him. Maybe it’s just a preview of what having 2 children will be like 😬

Omg I could have written this myself! I have a 21 month toddler and I'm 10+3 atm and I'm always tired regardless of how much I rest. It's actually making me quite down because I literally plan things I want/need to do and I struggle with most of it.

I'm also hoping once the second trimester hits I'll have more energy, I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling like this x

@inthisworld
it’s awful isn’t it, Iv jusy taken mine swimming now feel like I could sleep for the rest of the day 😂
im with you on that one, been making me feel very down also. Mentally I want to do things but physically I can’t. If I over do it I only end up feeling worse the next day x
