Hey guys I’m new here & just looking for some advise so sadly I had a miscarriage last month , I am a few days late on my period but have been testing positive on my ovulation strips for 3 weeks now but negative on pregnancy tests does anyone know what this could mean ? X

Have you used OPKs for a while?
When you say positive ovulation strips, do you mean that on every single one the test line was as dark or darker than the control line? Do you have any pics?

(Sorry if you've used them and know exactly how they should look when positive, many don't! Depending on how far along you were when you miscarried, the OPKs could also be picking up small amounts of leftover HCG)

That’s fine don’t worry ! I was 5 weeks when I miscarried my baby :( but I will insert you pictures of the strips now x

Okay it's a little hard to tell from the pic, but only the very very bottom test looks positive? All the others look negative to me. 🤔

I guess it's just a waiting game...waiting for either AF or a positive pregnancy test. Limbo is tough!

I agree with @Flederjo only the last one looks positive. Not sure what's going on though but hope you get your answer soon

what sort of pregnancy tests are you using? I was using the strip ones (like opk) but getting false negatives or very faint positives that you had to wait and squint for. If you haven’t done, try one of the supermarket/boots brand tests.

Im sorry to hear you had a miscarriage, it’s awful and unfair.. I had miscarriages before my son and I found that they really threw my cycle off. I had to first wait for a negative test from the HCG leaving my bogey (which took anything from 3 days to 3 weeks) and then my cycle seemed to start again then, but was a bit longer - on average it was about 6 weeks before I ovulated again after each miscarriage. I’m not saying this is what’s happening to you but my cycles were very irregular for a while after.

Body not bogey! Next time I will add glasses before message!

@Nade02
Opks r not really reliable after a miscarriage, they say to wait after your first period to use them again, my periods where messed up after my 4 miscarriages where never on time until my body reset its self.
