Twin mums - when did you start showing?

Those who are/have been pregnant with twins - when did you start showing? Did you just suddenly pop one day or more gradual?

I’m 12 weeks with twins and have a slightly bigger belly but it’s just bloating/fluid etc. I didn’t show until I was about 21 weeks with my first (singleton) - although that was a long time ago now.

I know everyone is different but just interested to hear the range of experiences.

Confratulations! We went to a wedding when I was about 16 weeks and I look properly pregnant in the photos (the bride was also 16 weeks pregnant with a si gleton and no one could tell!)

Enjoy now though. They were born at 35 weeks and I had random strangers saying "not long now love" from at least 20. It qqs gradual but I did get very big x

I didn't look obviously pregnant until after 20 weeks. I went to a wedding at 20 weeks and a lot of people didn't know.

I think a lot depends on your height. I'm quite tall and have a long torso so didn't show as early.

Congratulations! I looked like I had eaten extra cake if I stood sideways at about 15 weeks - but no one noticed and I didn't tell work until 16 weeks. I had a small bump at 20 weeks. (First pregnancy).

@clareykb - thank you - I will try to enjoy it! Feel a bit better after seeing babies at the dating scan but I have been quite worried and anxious generally. And also very sick. Trying to move into enjoyment mode as I move into the second trimester!

@ElizabethG81 I’m not tall but I probably won’t be an early shower, especially going by my first pregnancy.

@Popplebop extra cake from the side is a great description, that’s how I look at the moment!
