7-8dpo tests

Hi guys,very new here 😊
im possibly 7-8dpo after positive opk 8/9th July. I felt dodge this morning so done cheapy and a frer and both came back with very faint lines,possibly indents I’m presuming as surely this is too early 😳
any advice or input very very welcome ❤️ Thank you

Hi @Missliannefox so if you got a positive opk on July 8th/9th, that means you probably ovulated on July 10th-ish. It's always after the LH surge. Which could put you at around 6 or 7dpo right now.

That is a bit early to test and I can't see any lines on the tests 🤔The best thing to do would be to wait 3 or 4 days and then do another test which should give you a clear line if pregnant!

I think I can see a very faint line on the first pic! This was mine 7dpo, I then got a very clear positive at 9dpo so fingers crossed you’ll get your good news in a couple of days x

I just stupidly tested far too early!!! Will try hold out a couple more days 😬 wow yours was super faint too,I’m glad I’ve not imagined what I’m seeing,I’m already going bat shit crazy 😂😂thank you 😊

It takes 5 days for a fertilised egg to become a blastocyst, which then floats around for a couple of days before starting to implant. No hcg is produced until implantation has started. You’re testing too early. The science doesn’t support it.

Yes crampy 8dpo and 9dpo.... and still achey now along with tingly boobs but nothing else,my frer was still very faint but not a squinter. Fingers crossed for you. My symptoms have been no different from af just a little earlier than usual. Best of luck xx

Interesting, my symptoms are the same as you. I feel like I’ll wipe and AF will be there, but nothing, maybe a bit more creamy discharge. Feel like the cramps are more my pelvis. Desperate to test but hanging on a couple more days. Thank you x

I tested positive with very faint lines at approx 7DPO this month. I really don’t understand it because everything online says that HCG isn’t produced until after implantation but when I spoke to the EPU the midwife said she hears of women finding out very early like this often so it must be possible. My lines aren’t really progressing now so I’m hoping it’s not chemical but I def tested positive within a short time after ovulation.
