I've been spotting on and off for a couple of days, currently abroad, so not a lot I can do. Dating scan is scheduled for next week. I feel pretty tired/ sad. Not sure what to expect/ how to cope. Could I get a handhold please?

Pinky discharge when I wiped on Tuesday, also felt a bit woozy. Then fine, no discharge Wednesday. A small bit of browny pink discharge when wiping yesterday, and this morning. This evening small flecks of red in my pants. Slight cramps around my cervix, which is very low (obvious when I wiped gently after seeing flecks of red).

I had some spotting and lots of cramping throughout and everything was OK. Try and take it easy til you get home x

Hope you are ok, I had bleeding this pregnancy and 12 week scan all was perfect….when are u home? Could you ring your early pregnancy unit whilst your away now for some advice? They might be able to book u in for a scan for when your home? Mine only had appts for scan 4 days later when I rang but gave me advice for in the mean time…might be worth ringing X

Thanks all. It seems to get worse if I'm in the warm, then eases off if I stay indoors/ in Aircon. Won't be able to get an EPU scan before my scan date.

Not looking good. Currently in a Spanish hospital, which looked rather like a murder scene a few minutes ago there was so much blood. Waiting for an ultrasound, but looks like bad news :(

Thanks. No more baby, just confirmed. Staff lovely. My husband is back at the hotel with our 3-year-old. Did not want him to see this.

GoT1904 · 16/07/2022 23:49

So sorry. :'( are you still at the hospital? How are you feeling? We are here for you xx sending love and hugs xx

EsmeSusanOgg · 17/07/2022 02:45

Thank you. I'm still in hospital. They needed to do a D&C under sedation to stop the bleeding, so I've been kept in overnight. Feel very fragile. The staff are utterly lovely, but I want to hug my husband and little boy.

I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks last year whilst on holiday. It was grim. The only upside was that we had 4 days left and I used that to ensure I sampled all the delicious wine I had been avoiding.

I felt really unwell on the way home (turned out I had some stuff left in my cervix). I told the air hostesses what had had happened and got special assistance at the airport which was really brilliant. I would really recommend doing that.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s rough at first but it does get easier. I am now 18 weeks pregnant.

Jaaxe · 17/07/2022 08:46

So sorry to hear this, glad they are looking after you well at the hospital but hope you can get back to your lovely family soon. Thinking of you xx

EsmeSusanOgg · 17/07/2022 09:28

Thanks @Msloverlover - it was really awful. Not much bleeding after the D&C. Desperate to get discharged soon, waiting for the doctor. I'm guessing I can't go in the pool now. But I suppose I could have a glass of something later. It's our first post COVID family holiday too. I feel so guilty ruining it.
