Concieving after the Nexaplanon implant

I have had the Nexaplanon implant in now for 10 years (not the same one obviously). My latest was inserted just over a year ago. I recently got married in April and we will want to start a family. Can anyone tell me how quickly they conceived after having it removed ? I keep seeing different information online such as it can 8 months for the hormones to return to normal, however most places say it can happen immediately.

Fertility (ie ovulation so periods starting) is usually back in 6-8 weeks. Occasionally people ovulate virtually immediately so advice is act as though could conceive immediately, other people it can take a few months but 8 is v unusual. It takes you back to your own baseline fertility- bear in mind some people are more/less fertile than others naturally. It’s normal to take a few months to conceive anyway.

I fell pregnant 5 months after removal. I have PCOS and was also taking metformin and myo-inositol after the removal to kick start menstruation and ovulation.

I had my implant out in the January and got pregnant at the end of May. Periods returned to normal after about a month

I fell pregnant 2 months after removal of my nexplanon implant. Had been on it for 7 years.

It took 9 months for me to fall pregnant after having it out. It only took 1-3 months the other times after stopping the mini pill, although possibly there were other factors involved.

Mine was removed in July and I was pregnant in August, I was 32. I was expecting a few months to return to normal… It can be very fast! Guess it just depends on the person

I had mine in for 11 years, I've had mine out for 13months, no pregnancy yet.
Took 7 months for my period to return and I've only had one more since then.
Hopefully you won't have to wait as long as me!

I had one, got it taken out, couldn't get PG for 2 years. Blood tests all fine, we were looking at fertility investigations etc but I had an accident & was unwell (in a lot of pain) for about a year, so we decided not to try for a while & just use barrier methods as I didn't want to get PG while I was still in serious pain. It improved, we started trying again, & got PG on the 2nd month.

I had mine removed end of Nov and fell pregnant in JanSmile

I had nexplanon for 9 years. It took 56 days to get my first period and the next couple of cycles were really short, 21/22 days. I got pregnant cycle 6 but ended in a chemical pregnancy, pregnant again cycle 8 and now 25 weeks. So that was out at the end of May, pregnant end of January
