My husband and are I trying, I got a positive clear blue test yesterday which the results were "pregnant 2-3weeks" I'm wondering why if I'm registering at 2-3 weeks, why the test I took 8 days before (Sunday) came back negative. Is it just the hormone levels that fluctuate since then? Has anyone else had something like this? TIA

How many DPO were you when you took the first test, and how many DPO yesterday when you took the 2-3 weeks one?

9 DPO for the first and 15 DPOfor the 2-3 weeks

Sorry the positive came at 17 DPO not 15

So probably because 9dpo is often too early to test, whereas at 17dpo there was a ton more HCG in your system to give you the 2-3.

9DPO is early to test - especially with a CB digital which isn't very sensitive at all.

I had a faint line at 9dpo but CB digital didn't come up as 1-2 weeks pregnant until a few days later.
