Hi all,
I have been able to feel my baby move pretty well since 19 weeks (placenta is laterally positioned so no cushioning) and the baby is very active which has been picked up by both sonographer and my midwife.
Baby is slowly getting in a pattern of movements - when i wake, after lunch, a little before dinner and then quite active after dinner and whilst in bed. Movements are strong enough to see through belly and be felt by husband and its been that way for a good few weeks now.
Last night I was awoken by the strength of my babies movements and they went on for quite a sustained period of time...well, it felt like that - i was groggy from being awoken so felt like an hour, could have been 15 mins 😂but the movements were much stronger than any i had felt before.
I must have fell back asleep and have been monitoring the movements this morning - they are moving around fine, perhaps a bit more than normal, but the strength has decreased.
Is this worth phoning the hospital for even though it seems to have settled? I know that decreased movements are more concerning & there definitely seems to be a conflict in the advice/literature out there around an increase...
I'm 25 weeks tomorrow so it also makes sense that the movements will get stronger and stronger until (32wks i think?) so it could easily be that and the baby still has room to turn and twist!
No other symptoms such as pain, or bleeding.
