Medical management after surgical management incomplete

Hi, I just wanted some advice really. I had a missed miscarriage of twins on 23rd June and then surgical management 27th. I had a scan on Monday due to heavy bleeding and passing clots, they have told me I still have pregnancy tissue left inside and large clots so they are now sending me for medical management tomorrow morning.
I am so scared and I am going to my appointment on my own. Sorry for the waffling on! suppose what i want to ask is has anyone had to go through both procedures and how did you cope. X

So sorry for your loss, it’s the most heartbreaking time. I don’t have experience of both procedures, but I did have medical management for mmc at 9 weeks in May. I was absolutely terrified of taking the tablets because I had read so many awful stories, but wanted to reassure you that it wasn’t anywhere near as bad (physically at least) as I had read. Everything passed within 6 hours and while painful, wasn’t close to some of the stories I have read. I stopped bleeding 5 days later.

I've had medical management for a missed abortion 2 weeks ago and it wasn't as bad as I expected. Make sure you have plenty of painkillers and pads. The pain wasn't worse than a heavy period and Feminax pills took the edge off.

My DH got me a mountain of Milka chocolate and that helped too.
