Clear blue Ovulation tests. When to test?

Hi I’m a little confused,
I have been using the cheap ovulation test sticks for a month now(testing in the late morning) & I did get an ovulation peak but didn’t fall pregnant so I have brought the clear blue ovulation test kits and I’ve read online to do them in the morning? but then I’ve read other people do them later on……
I want to make sure I’m doing them right as they are more expensive.
can anyone share their experiences with the clear blue ones, thank you!

I've used them in the morning, started about CD9 but think it says in the leaflet what day to start on depending on the length of your cycle. Good luck.

@Charmuzza use FMU to establish a baseline on the reader once you get a flashing smiley you can test more in the day just don't drink too much before testing after FMU so it isn't diluted
