I know I'm not on the right board, but I never get response anywhere else.

My 3 month old had started to sleep right through the night, but suddenly has started to wake during night and then wake even earlier, has this happened anyone else, baby currently 14 weeks old, doesn't wake up crying just wakes up

Sleep regression:

It is very hot. I have been waking at night needing a drink/ feeling uncomfortable. Also, they do go through phases of sleep regression as pp mentioned.

That's just baby sleep. It isn't linear, so quite often babies will sleep through for a time and then stop.

Hungry
Hot
Teething
Development leap

Could be anything. Their sleep chop and changes all the time.

On being too hot, currently bedroom is 23 degrees celecius at night which I no is too hot, but what should they be wearing to bed if room that temperature

23 degrees, I'd go for a short sleeved vest and a 1 tog sleeping bag :-)

Same. Sleep regressions happen all the time in babies development, the 4 month one is especially bad, but sleeping through at 3 months is very lucky!

You have a good innings for that first few months by the sounds of it. Baby sleep varies so much over the first few years, if you've had a few good months then just take that for what it is. Baby sleep rarely stays the same. My first slept from 11-6 by 3 months. Then the 4m regression hit and it took her literally 3 years to reliably sleep so well again! It may be a short term sleep disruption, it may said be for much longer. They're isn't really a normal.

Yep. Babies sleep like crap. You’ve been very lucky so far.

I would give you some advice on how to get babies to sleep better, but the answer to this is not something I ever figured out. My baby always did the opposite of what all the baby books said and none of the books’ advice worked.

Good luck!

Babies sleep goes up and down, just because they slept through at 2 months doesn’t mean that’s it, nighttime wakings done.
