Doxycycline after recurrent miscarriage - success stories?

Hi, am posting on pregnancy thread for this as wondering if there is anyone on here who took Doxycycline following recurrent miscarriage and then went on to have a good pregnancy? Either via the Prof Quenby CERM trial or privately or just self diagnosed and ordered the antibiotics online?

I'm considering getting them online as I think I know what you're meant to take (100mg twice a day?) And feel like maybe it can't hurt, even though I haven't been tested yet for endometritis. Also considering booking a test privately or taking part in the trial, but tbh I am worried about being given the placebo.

Just looking for information / other people's experiences x TIA

Hey @Jayejayex in the trial you start taking on cd1 so I think that would be the best time!

Hi there, I can see this post is a little old, but I've just experienced a chemical pregnancy with my only two frozen eggs (three years of trying). I have endometriosis and am wondering about trying doxycycline too. Does anyone have any updates? @showmethegin huge congratulations - how long did you take it for? Thanks so much xx

Hey, how long after the doxycycline was you able to conceive. I am just taking my anti biotics now under prof brosens.
also, was there any other treamtemt / medication you was taking. I have had 5MC so far hoping the doxycycline will fix my problems.

Hi, I'm so sorry. This fell off my saved threads for some reason!

I got pregnant immediately after the treatment and that was my little boy was my first successful pregnancy. Thyroid issues were also discovered in early pregnancy and therefore I started thyroxine at 7 weeks. I also had supplemental progesterone pessaries. I'll never know which of these things worked or whether it was a combination of all three!

Hello, not sure if anyone is still around. I have bought some doxycycline from Superdrug and am going to take it just wondering which cycle day to start? I am desperate after 2 losses and a chemical - which has made me wonder if I have had more chemicals previously. Thanks xxxx
