22 weeks pregnant - small blob of white, thick, jelly like discharge

Hey guys! I’m 22+4 and all seems to be going well (fingers crossed!). However, half an hour ago when I wiped there was a small blob of white, thick jelly like discharge on the toilet paper. A really small amount but I haven’t had that before! Anyone know what this is, just normal discharge or something else? It was white, and no colour to it no bleeding or anything like that. No cramping or anything either.

Doesn’t sound at all worrying OP. Discharge can vary in pregnancy.

It just sounds like normal discharge to me, and it can vary in pregnancy. I’d keep an eye on it and if it goes any funny colours then get it checked.

I'm 36 weeks and have had this throughout. I asked my midwife and she said it's nothing to worry about and totally normal. She said that you can lose bits of the mucus plug too and it will just regenerate itself until you get to about 37 weeks.

I was a glue factory when I was pregnant last time, so far this time around it's not as bad Confused

Yes I've had this alot this pregnancy (#3) it's just wierd discharge. I find it worse in the morning with first wee (sorry if this is tmi) and I'm 29 weeks now. I think I read somewhere that your body goes into hyper cleansing when pregnant so sometimes discharge/fluids increase as your body is protecting yourself. This heat can't help (if you are in the UK)

Thank you, and yes it actually is worse in this heat!
