Last night (am 10wks pg) saw the return of a symptom I'd completely forgotten about since my last pregnancy. Just after sex my face crumples up and I start sobbing! Absolutely nothing emotional, I'm often laughing at the ridiculousness of it.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who's had this?

Have had it. Release of emotions, relief!? Lucky you...!

OMG - I think I did have that! Had completely forgotten. I think I managed to hold off on the actual tears or dp would have just ripped the piss and/or been completely put off having sex by it and it was hard enough to convince when I was pg anyway!

Dont think it lasted long though, although maybe the odd relapse.

Congratulations btw!

I wondered if it was oxygen starvation - forgetting to breathe properly and getting squashed? Although I do remember it happening with me on top as well LOL.

I cried after sex once cos i was worried about squashing the baby. I was crying and laughing at the same time cos i felt so silly about my fear. DH was ok about it.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I went off sex almost from conception to 3 or 4 months. (Poor DH!)

After a particularly strong O I do feel like I want to cry for about 30 seconds, but like pesha, I would have the piss ripped out of me too, so I soon compose myself!

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 17/01/2008 11:06

Ha ha - yes me too. Have to say it really put my lovely DH off as a result! (Which is okay as I really don't feel like it anyway!)

Have to say - if I have a particlulary strong O I sometimes cry anyway, pregnant or not. Think it is just the heightened emotion, which will obviously be exaggerated during pregnancy. This happened to me in the shower this morning (I was alone) lol. No inclination whatsoever to do the biz with my other half though - and feel bad about that !
