Random episodes of diarrhoea at 12 weeks?

Hi ladies, so I’m just over 12 weeks pregnant and I keep getting these horrific episodes of diarrhoea. They only happen in the middle of the night, it’s so random. I get woken by severe stomach pains and I have to rush to the toilet.

Sorry if it’s tmi but as soon as I’ve finished the pain goes and I’m able to sleep again. Is this just a symptom of pregnancy? This is my second baby and I can’t remember anything like this with my first.

Yeah I had this, it did eventually go away and midwife just said it may be a bug or stomach being a bit extra sensitive, longs you can keep hydrated that's the main thing xx
