Bleeding whilst 7 weeks pregnant

Hi all I’m 7 weeks pregnant and have had light bleeding like period with no clots or pain. I had a internal scan yesterday and they said the pregnancy sack looks good and they saw some flickering like the heartbeat but couldn’t clearly tell as it was very early. I’m still very worried and wondering if I am in fact miscarrying. I have another scan booked in 10 days in hope we will see baby and hear heartbeat. Has anyone else had anything similar?

i had exactly the same with both my pregnancies. One is now a very enthusiastic toddler and I’ve just hit the 12 week mark with the other. It sounds like you’re getting good care. My midwife said it might be something to do with hormonal cycles I.e happens when your period was due. Try not to worry. ❤️

thank you! That makes me feel a little better just a little worried cause it’s been a. Few days now since I’ve been bleeding and overly worried cause I’ve miscarried in the past but also had one healthy pregnancy ❤️

Im 7 weeks 5 days and have experiencing on/off spotting and bleeding (mainly brown, but some red) with on/off cramps since 6 weeks. I did have a scan last week when it all started and everything looked fine. Like PP said could be hormones levels as u would start to get period soon if u wasnt pregnant. Its good u have another scan soon, i guess that would provide more certainty.. I have my next scan tomorrow.. Wishing you the best

I’ve started bleeding heavier now and can see small clots :( slightly concerned I rang epu and they said to monitor it over the hour

In my first pregnancy I bled bright red blood at 11 weeks. All was fine, thank fully.

In this pregnancy I had pink/brown almost like discharge that lasted a couple of days and thankfully again they were both fine on the screen.

Put a pad on so you can monitor how much blood x

Bleeding is a tricky one as it can be sinister but there is also a good change of it being benign. It seems to be very common too.

I had a heavy gushing bleed at 11 weeks - assumed everything was over. But at the scan baby was fine. Yet some people have a tiny amount of bleeding and it’s a miscarriage.

Unfortunately it is just a waiting game, but you have every reason to hope, so until you know otherwise, try to have faith LO is still ok.

I had light bleeding at 7 weeks with all 3 of mine and all 3 were fine. I eventually assumed it was implantation bleeding although Google says that happens a lot earlier.
Also had a huge bleed with clots at 13 weeks once, again totally fine.

I’ve just done a pregnancy test after the bleeding stopped and it’s showing negative :( I have my first midwife apt today
