Two positive tests one negative

Hi

im hoping you can help! I’ve been trying for a baby for three months now and this month I had a weird feeling so I tested early I’ve had two really faint positives on tescos then one negative?

would I go by the negative one?

I can only slightly see a line on the middle photo. How many DPO are you? Also, I got really convincing evaps on those Tesco tests. I never trusted them after that.

Thank you for your reply! I’ve attached an better photo of it, I’m only around 9dpo so I’m so early but I know I should have waited just find it so hard when I’m feeling symptoms.

I had a tesco one like that with my first and a day or two later it was obvious so fingers crossed for you. (Also fairly sure there's a hint of a line on the first response but I get bad line eyes!)

Aww thank you for your reply. I do get bad line eyes too and before I have thought wrong. It’s so much clearer on tescos but I hate the not know I know I need to wait ☹️

My other confusion is both tescos have colour blue and keep getting darker

Did you do them am or pm? I found when testing early I always got a better result with a few hours hold in the evening for some reason. Also boots early tests are great too.

I took them evening a couple of hours ago, I’ve ordered some from Amazon I’ll try them first thing

Definitely use your first wee of the day to test if you’re early. Any HCG will be stronger and be more likely to show up.

I tested today but not with first urine, I’ve attached a picture of the test I feel I can see the faintest line but might be getting my hopes up 😕

Hmm, I think I can see the faintest of faint lines, but I'm really not sure. I didn't get a faint positive til 12dpo, so don't worry about line darkness - this early on it will depend a lot on how concentrated your wee is

I can see a hint of something on this one.

I did another test this morning and again I can see a faint line but it’s so faint I don’t know if I’m seeing things 😞 I’m going to leave it 48 hours and then test again

If those are one step tests (think that was the brand) I didn't get an obvious positive on them until way after any other brand. Good luck and try a different brand

Hey, I tested today I’m now 11dpo and used a different test and still negative 😕 I’m going to just wait until my period is due in 4 days and see then. I’m given up on hope for this month now

just read all your comments and was just curious are you taking the tests made for early pregnancy?
i brought clear blue as early as 6 days before your period and it found my pregnancy before I am meant to start my period in a few days

just wondered

Hey thanks for your message! The cheap strips are meant to be early I think but are just cheap ones from Amazon, the others aren’t. My last pregnancies I got a clear positive straight away but I will maybe try an early one. Are clear blues good?

Hey :) aww okay I’ve never seen them before!
yeah I used clear blue and it detected my pregnancy 3 days before I was due on and I had a faint line and I then took one today just to be sure 🙈 and the line was darker - I know they are not cheap but they have always been accurate for me so would deffo recommend if your still unsure ☺️ and want a answer which is like 99% accurate!
dont give up hope if it doesn’t happen now just keep trying and be positive ☺️ X

Hey,

no period! Really sore boobs and heart burn so I just did a clear blue and negative 😕 it was due today. I’ll try one with morning wee but not holding out any hope
