What are you wearing if you are finding normal clothes tight but aren't ready for maternity clothes? Now that I'm at the end of the first trimester I'd like to make the most of summer and get out more and that's making me want to wear flattering clothes.

I've seen tunic tops and dresses recommended as well as drawstring trousers and empire line dresses. I find that with drawstring trousers any top over it just looks really frumpy as it hangs over in a lumpy way (I should probably get used to this).

I've also heard that it's fine to get maternity jeans early on as they stretch to where you are. Is this true?

I'd like to try to get free / second hand clothes. Have you had luck with this on local FB groups/ other groups?

Would love to hear your thoughts on what works.

I would invest in maternity trousers as super comfy. Fit like a dream as for other clothes t shirts dresses just get sizes bigger as normal clothes but bigger sizes look trendier and still comfy. Like I say just invest in maternity trousers. Maternity dresses lookfrumpy and old fashioned I think so just stick to bigger sizes in them. I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant
