Hi mums, I live in East Barnet Village and due in early March. I am choosing hospital to give the birth and not keen on local ones as I can hear a lot of bad reviews. I am considering St Marys (my first was born) or QCCH although it is around 40-60min drive. What are your thoughts? Are there any local hospitals with good reviews? What do you think about an hour drive, is it not gonna be too long? (My first one from contractions to birth took 13 hours, I was in hospital at 3pm and gave birth at 1am, but not sure how it will be with the second although 6 years difference so don't think it will be quick). Let me know your thoughts about the hospitals as well as travel time. Thanks x

I lived near Barnet Hospital and I had my daughter in there by elective c section.
It was great experience and I had no issues there. My daughter had to have some checks up immediately after the birth and they were very efficient and very helpful.
