Could I be pregnant?

Hey guys, I hope everyone is okay. I really need some advice and see if anyone has been through similar. Me and my partner have been TTC for around 4 months, this month I didn’t track my ovulation or anything so we didn’t put pressure on ourselves, I am now currently 13/14 days late on my period, I keep getting cramps over the past few weeks, bloated and very tired. I have taken a few test and some are very faintly positive, but some look pretty negative. Has anyone experienced being this late and not getting a positive for a very long time?

Make a GP appointment and get a blood test.

Sorry I pressed post too soon. If you're already getting faint positives then you are pregnant but a GP appointment could put your mind at rest

@ImprobablePuffin its so confusing as some rest are faint and others don’t seem positive these are the positive ones I’ve done

You can hardly see them when I post them as they have gone blurry

You should be getting strong positives at 2 weeks late.
Have you tried any other brands of test?
Are your periods normally regular?

Hayleyemma · 05/07/2022 22:21

This might be easier to see

I don't see anything I'm afraid and at 2 weeks late you'd have a fairly strong line. Are you sure your that many days late? Are you feeling stressed?

fairgame84 · 05/07/2022 22:24

I would say that's negative, sorry.
Try a frer and see what you get on that.
I got a decent line on frer at 10dpo. You should be getting dye stealers at 14 days late.

It happened to a friend of mine, she struggles to get strong positive tests in early pregnancy, but it’s not the norm. I sometimes think that this is one of the downsides of readily available tests, in years gone by you would have just had to wait and see.

ImprobablePuffin · 06/07/2022 08:23

Maybe it's the pictures but I don't see positives. Have you definitely got your days right?

babyjellyfish · 06/07/2022 11:19

If you didn't track ovulation then it's really impossible to say. As a rule of thumb you should be getting a faint but clear line by about 12 DPO.

If your period is two weeks late it means you didn't ovulate when you think you did. You would either have had your period or be getting a clear line by now.

hey, update I went for a scan today and they said they can’t see anything baby wise however on my right ovary there is an egg which is either fertilised or means I’m ovulating.
