Reassurance - just painted a whole room 17wks pregnant and worried about baby

Hi everyone

i just painted my entire bedroom (took all day) 17 weeks pregnant and I’m upset that I didn’t consider the fumes for the baby. Should I speak to my midwife?

am I silly to be upset?

OP, I worried about this sort of thing with my first baby, but it is absolutely 100% fine!

My DM tells of being up a ladder painting the ceiling of my room when 30 weeks pregnant as DDad couldn’t cope with painting at height. I’m fine, and paints are much less toxic these days.

It won’t be toxic, go and read the tin and then you can stop worrying.
