34 wks fundal legnth small - what does this mean?

i think its the fundal legnth... the bit where they measure your bump

i'm 3cm under, within 2cm is normal, so am only 1cm "out". being remeasured next week, with a view to a growth scan if still small. gonna eat and eat and eat!

just posting to see if anyone else had same thing and for some good happy stories of small at this stage but worked out fine ...

Hi tyaca I am 39 weeks and last week was only measuring 34 weeks!! Had a scan and have been told the baby was already weighing 8lbs!! And that shes gonna be big!! Try not to worry I have measured small all through my pregnancy but I think some people just do depending on body shape where the baby is ext ext. Your little bean might just be tucked in good and proper....

Also you may get to have another scan which means another sneak preview of the baby

Yes, around the same gestation, because the baby was lying transverse or across the bump iyswim...did they say if baby was lying that way?
