TMI - Cleaning down there....

Hi All :)
I realise that this might be TMI but I'm hoping that I'm surely not alone in this predicament.....

As my bump grows each week i am finding it increasingly hard to reach all the way round down there.... I can reach so far from the front and then so far from the back but I feel like there is a whole area that I just cant get to!!

Does anyone have any suggestions... maybe a tool? Soap on a stick? I don't know :/

I'm 31 weeks and can't say I've noticed this! I tend to use the handheld bit of the shower and give it all a good rinse. Could you bathe instead if you're finding it tricky?

Why not pick up one of those sponges/loofahs on a stick? I guess they're for reaching your back, but would also be useful in your situation!

I did get one of these off Amazon but it was so bendy! I might look at getting something a bit more substantial :)

I might have to resort to the bath - just to get to all the nooks and crannys :)

Sometimes I have to chuckle at what we all discuss here on the Pregnancy board 😂

I’ve resorted to having a bath or getting my hubby to do it .. he’s more than happy to help 😂

I must have really long arms as I don't seem to have an issue! I use the shower head and my hand to make sure I'm clean - but maybe easier in the bath?

What I do have an issue is shaving as I cannot see! So I use a mirror x

i also must have long arms as never been an issue. I’m trying to imagine the problem - I’m imagining you reaching over your bump, can’t you just reach under from the side? Just lean forward, or sit down?

I wouldn’t bother with anything on a stick, could you use a long flannel or cloth in a similar motion to drying your back with a towel? I definitely can’t reach my back and I wash and dry it daily.

I've never had this issue and I'm on my 3rd pregnancy, but I do pull the shower head down and use that and my hand to have a good wash, I personally wouldn't use a sponge etc as it could harbour germs x

Maybe I have short arms! I have tried going around the side of the bump but i still cant quite reach - i might try the long flannel suggestion...
