27+3 weeks pregnant and babies kicks hurt

Is this normal? It’s my second pregnancy and I had loads of amniotic fluid with my first and it never hurt when he kicked from what I can remember!

This baby though kicks me right between my ribs and stomach or constantly has his elbow/knee there too and it is driving me mad!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yep it was always sore to me once the baby got any bit big.

Yeah, I spent three months trying to cajole her into moving into more comfortable positions. I'm not very tall and she was a long baby, we just didn't fit together very well.

No advice but I’m experiencing the same thing. 27+5, second child and the kicks hurt or feel really uncomfortable. With DC1 I had an anterior placenta so the kicks didn’t feel as strong as they do this time. It gets really sore!
