When did you get a positive?

Hi everyone, I’m wondering how many dpo everyone was when they got their first BFP, I’m on 8dpo and wanting to test so bad!

Mine was exactly 4weeks after the first day of my period but it was faint. I had guessed beforehand though through the other symptoms.

5dp5dt so equivalent of 10dpo, nothing before then!

I was 10DPO but had obvious symptoms from about 5/6 DPO. Currently being kicked a awful lot by him 😊

@Samthenanny if you don’t mind me asking, what symptoms did you experience? I’m on cycle 1 so definitely getting ahead of myself 😁, but super interested to hear!

@Samthenanny oooh that's 2 people who have said 10dpo so that'd be two more days for me!

I wasn't sure when I ovulated, but I know it was about 10 days after the "shot" if you catch my drift, so I'd probably say around 10-12dpo.

@Georgia2609 i did actually test at 7dpo but it was negative but I just felt weird and im slightly impatient 🤣
at 10dpo think it was 4 days before my period.

@Heretochill of course not. Super sensitive nipples from the day after my peak that just continued then progressed to super sore boobs. Really dry down below which was very abnormal and I was for about 3-4 months 🤷🏻‍♀️ Weird twinges around my belly button area, emotional which isn’t me 🤣 and very bizarrely vivid dreams all of which weren’t normal for me.
im now 27 weeks and I’m still an emotional mess haha

@Samthenanny I'm really impatient too and I tested today 😂 unsurprisingly it was negative but I know that doesn't mean it can't turn positive!

I tested at 10dpo because I couldn't wait until my period was due. Got a faint BFP.

Faint positive at 9dpo, clear positive 11dpo :)

@ChagSameachDoreen I'm really starting to think 10dpo is the most common day to get a positive!

@frenchie4002 that's exactly what I had with my last pregnancy but unfortunately ended in a miscarriage

I didn’t get a bfp until 14dpo with my previous pregnancy which was a miscarriage so was surprised to get one that early!

Thanks @Samthenanny , it’s been a real eye opener all the tests, possible symptoms etc. - also how much you can tell yourself you’ll go with the flow (so to speak), but then find yourself looking at OPK results obsessively 😁given it’s our first cycle though I’ve resigned myself to this, and the next few being about understanding things so that takes the pressure off a bit.

@Heretochill exactly it’ll happen when it happens and it’s a learning experience every month.
I came off the pill, took about 7 weeks to get a bleed l, following month I didn’t ovulate at all then 3rd month got my first ever BFP on my birthday as well.

@obsessedwithsleep wow that's so early! I tested today at 9dpo and it's very negative so losing hope a little for this cycle

I got a positive at 8dpo on my third baby/4th pregnancy, the earliest before that was 12-14dpo.

Mine was the day before my period was due. We had stopped trying after a year with no success after a miscarriage last year. Decided it wasn’t meant to be. Had a lovely 40th birthday on holiday, lots of laughing and relaxing and then felt really tired when we got back. Like exhausted tired, which I wasn’t expecting after getting back from holiday. I also really snapped at my husband, which isn’t like me. Started to make me wonder so I did a quick test, two lines showed up, figured it was wrong so did a few more. All positive. I guess what they say about relaxing works. I would have throttled some one who said that to me when we were trying. 😂

Got this super squinter at 10dpo. I'm now 10 weeks+ 2 days ❤️❤️
