32 weeks - no tummy growth in 3 weeks but growth scan is ok

Hi all -
had an appointment today at which my stomach is still measuring 29 weeks (it measured this 3 weeks ago) double checked by multiple midwives, so I was sent straight for a growth scan where luckily she has grown and is still following the 10th centile nicely.
also had to have a ctg as her heart rate was up at 170 and they said this was high.
after 53 mins on the monitor it came back ok but midwife said she was ‘lazy’
i was induced at 35 weeks with my last pregnancy due to her being ‘lazy’
ive not gained any weight in my pregnancy and don’t need maternity clothes so I was not shocked when my stomach growth hasn’t changed.
I mentioned her movement isn’t as strong anymore more like hiccups instead of big kicks.
im under consultant anyway due to some health issues I have, previous Prem baby and previous 11th centile baby.
I guess my question is although after a scary few hours at hospital all has come back ok -
why is my stomach not growing if she is
& will they allow me to term if she continues on the 10th or likely induce early?
& what will happen if my stomach hasn’t changed again in a few weeks will they just dismiss it as scans show she is growing?
I’ve attached my growth chart so you can see.
I guess I was hoping for a straight forward pregnancy, no induction and just to labour naturally, wishful thinking ay!

When you say tummy growth, do you mean your bump size? When the midwife measures with a measuring tape?

Hi yes that’s what I mean (which I know isn’t reliable)

I had a scan at 28 weeks and baby was measuring just over 1200g which put her on 50th percentile oddly? Even though yours suggests just over 1200g is 10th percentile! So odd how they can be classed as different! I have another scan Tuesday when I'll be 30 weeks!

Fundal height is so inaccurate and if she's following her own curve then chances are they will leave her be unless something else warrants delivery like high heart rate, movement issues, cord flow measurements etc

My first baby was born on 9th percentile and then second baby was born on 2nd percentile so I just have small babies and probably be same again, so probably same for you!

Mine decided to burrow into the space previously occupied by my bladder at around that point. Movements can reduce slightly as it gets a bit cramped in there too in the later stages.

So it's not necessarily something to worry about - but just take your midwife's recommendations and advice seriously, and keep getting checked if you're at all concerned.

As long as she isn’t dropping on the centiles on the actual growth scans then I would have thought they’d just leave you be, hopefully!

The fundal height checks that the midwives do isn’t always accurate in my experience! I am very petite and my fundal measurements were between the 75th and 91st centiles throughout and I was told I was going to have a big baby. DS arrived at 39+5 at a very average 7lb 3oz.

Did they check blood flow through the cord? What about the fluid around the baby? If you're not happy then ask for a second opinion.
