How long did it take to give birth after being induced with a pessary??

5 days here! And then complications stemming from the induction meant I was on the postnatal ward completely immobile for a further 6 days (despite it being a 'successful' vaginal delivery,

Definitely would not recommend.

I opted for an elective CS for my second. Best. Decision. Ever.

12 hours. I hope everything goes well

I gave birth by c-section 48 hours after pessary had been inserted. If I have a second I'll be having an elective C Section

Emergency CS after 36hours, do not recommend!

Had an elective CS the second time after failed attempt of vbac (my ds didn't seem to be in any rush to come out!)

For both of mine, nothing happened for approx 20 hours after the pessary (v boring!), then I had active labours of 3.5 hours and 40 minutes, both unassisted vaginal births. So it can work well...

After pessary inserted I had 3 hours of nothing then a 1 hour labour. Was hard going as no time for much pain relief
