What to eat with morning sickness?

Advice needed please! Feeling so nauseous all day I can't really eat anything. But being hungry is making it feel so much worse.

I could eat crackers and toast last week but now the thought of anything is making me gag.

Did anyone find anything they could stomach?

I lived on salt and vinegar crisps and mixed sweet/salty popcorn for a while.

My first pregnancy all I could eat in the first 14 weeks were really salty chips for dinner.
Ready salted crisp sarnies (white bread) for lunch and breakfast was some sort of breakfast bar but I had to force myself to eat breakfast.
The worst is the hunger I think but then not wanting anything is so tough.

Arrowroot biscuits
Fishfingers
Ginger and lemon tea
Macdonald's chicken burger ( this was miraculous and recommended by a friend😂)

Cheese toasty and chicken nuggets

I lived off ready salted crisps and rich teas for a few months with pregnancy nausea.

Anything you can keep down. Feta, tomatoes and wotsits for me.

Prawn cocktail or ketchup flavour crisps and full sugar coke was all I could eat for 12 weeks then over night the sickness went. I did have an aversion to vegetables the whole pregnancy but not enough to make me sick.

Lemonade ice lollies

Lemonade
Mashed potatoes and gravy

You have my sympathies!

Anything with Ginger in and get some glucose powder from the chemist to stir into your drinks.

MrsOwainGlyndŵr · 29/06/2022 14:23

And Mars bars (it's the glucose)

Yodaisawally · 29/06/2022 14:24

Ready made mash and Haribo, not necessarily at the same time!

Thanks so much everyone!! Ready salted crisps sound perfect, I think salty food in general is sounding pretty good!

I've been feeling guilty that my diet has been crap but if first trimester survival means crisp sandwiches and chicken nuggets so be it!

Quavers, cheese mash (shop made so it had no lumps), spaghetti hoops, flat fizzy orange lucozade, chocolate milk l, ready salted pringles and spearmint Polos. These all helped in the first trimester.

AnneShirleysNewDress · 29/06/2022 19:45

I lived on salt and vinegar squares and fruit blended with ice.

Just eat what you can. I lived on skips, monster munch and rich tea biscuits. I think I worried too much about eating just these bad foods so didn't eat enough which made the nausea worse. Don't worry about it being bad or putting on weight, you can sort that out later. Just eat what you can and lots of it.
