Giving birth with Covid

I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences of giving birth with covid now that restrictions have lifted etc? Was your partner able to be with you? How did you find it whilst feeling poorly?

No experience of being in labour with covid but my friend did. Her dh was positive too. He had to stay home and she had another birthing partner with her. She didn’t wear a mask during and was in a separate room for
the dah until all was well enough to go home.

Myself and my husband caught covid when our dd was two weeks old. Our midwife and then health visitor encouraged us to wear a mask whenever we were feeding or holding our dd. My husband was positive first and we were encouraged to have him isolate, which he did until I tested positive.
Not going to lie, it was an incredibly tough and long two weeks feeling very unwell and caring for our newborn.
